ill donate my ability to not call in a 3 dmg mod gunnlogi and instagib you out of the air when i see you :P
cant promise that if you kill off my tank or dropship i wont call in a normal gunnlogi and give you some love taps though, just enough to toss you about the air, but not enough for the killing blow |

i just down right refuse to engage dropships from inside the redline... its just mean... i dont even use damage mods against them...
at least i let you know that you can take 3 hits from a particle acceleratior with your hardeners running :P thats useful information right? |

They never see it coming
thats my favorite place to park a rail as well...

occasionally you get some new guy who cant figure out why everytime he calls in an LAV it all spontantiously explodes... so he keeps calling in more. |

also putting my name out there as a vetren gunner.
ive been a gunner in dropships since the begining of chromosome mowing down infantry in a blaser myron getting 6+ orbitals a game :P
im not an amazing pilot but i AM one of the best gunners in the game.

we have resorted to a single turret on the lefthand side, for you specifically it would help as it would alow your dropship to have a missle and a rail on at the same time :P
since vehicles dont ever go away the main rail is never short of targets to shoot while still maintaining the amazing Ai capacity of a missle turret, it IS a huge drain though.... its a difficult tradeoff
plus you would be amazed how fast those redline rails melt when you divebomb them with a gunner :P 2x the DPS and constant fire if you make sure one guns still shooting while the other reloads :P |

I do want one side turret, just the damn fittings are so expensive now @_@
heres the secret, dont level out for the gunner :P idealy you would fly as if you diddnt have a gunner at all, i say lefthand side because thats the sid emy pilot favors naturally, it has the most gunner oportunity without him having to fly different :P
you favor your left as well :P
it IS difficult to justify but your primary threat is those railguns and a gunner should know exactly where they are at all times :P
i swear half the time im looking at the map and not shooting anyways unless we are divebombing those things, in a tank fight im usually conserving ammo to maintain DPS on the main guns reload to counter shield regen on shield tanks :P on armor we just unload and it explosdes.
when your dancing in the redline killing off rails that extra turret means that tank may explode before you have to leave :P |

I was trying to be nice. Yesterday I called in 20 FREE lav's to keep the tanks busy. One after another. I saved countless lives. Best part, tanks didn't make a dime.
FREE lavs have an isk value in the system as evident int he numbers of the data dumps :P
not only that but the person with the highest WP recives a bigger portion of the pie in accordance with the WP gap between 1 st and 2nd....
so if that tank scored more then 4k WP... he just got a 600k+ paycheck off that.
i know this becuase i DO this, i have recived million isk payouts from 5k + WP games by shooting down HALF that many bolases + tanks + cargo + turrets + sniping + whatever my team actually does |

I believe the ISK payout has less to do with the gap between first and second and more to do with the relative % of the WP you gained versus your team (or maybe both teams). Beyond that, I'd sure like to see those $1m payouts. I've had several rounds above 5k warpoints, and the most I can recall getting is about $750k. Not calling you a liar, but rather would like to see how inept the rest of your team was that round. Take care...Leadfoot
INCREDABLY inept......
wierdly it requires that both teams are incompetant..... as to score high enough to gouge out enough WP you practically need some idiot in LOS calling in LAVs near non stop wondering why they keep falling out of the air, while the rest of your team acomplishes next to nothing to scew that WP% HEAVILY in your favor.
its not somethign that should ever happen normally, but occasionally does do to a freak accident of extreme stupidity. |
